bluesfest anyone?
So I have never really been that interested or aware of some of Ottawa's festivities (you would think I would be after 6 years here)... until now. So Bluesfest will be back this July, and I must say, the lineup of acts looks pretty fantastic. Among some of the eye-catching performers are: Down With Webster (love times a billion), Steve Winwood (don't bother asking fatima, she hates people from the 80s), Matthew Good, Santana!!!, Rush, Weezer, Drake, Crowded House................................
the list just goes on and on, I cannot wait. (!!!!)

YES! A day off!!! and you know what that means... I hit the sewing machine :P had some fun and learned how to draft more dress patterns. Thx Grandma :) I'm currently working on a teal blue one shoulder dress...there may be a slim chance it'll be ready for semi, but I probably will still end up wearing my leopard mini skirt just because i've never worn the skirt and I look FABULOUS in it!!! and haven't been given an oppurtunity to wear it ..till now
and now I'm bored and i've been surfing net-a-porter (I have this love hate relationsip with it. I love just about everything on the site... yet I hate it cuz I can't afford what I want.)

parenting fail.
So i was working yesterday, and it was about 4:30 p.m., when this woman walks in with 2 young boys. I hear my co-worker ask "would you like some hot chocolate with that?" Why the frig would you need hot chocolate if you already ordered your stuff? Well, I got my answer when he comes back with two cups filled with whipped cream. Yes, JUST whipped cream. So I just make up an amount to charge them and they walk off with their lovely creams. Rory just looks at me and shakes his head, while i burst out laughing for the next ten minutes.
So, um, apparently whipped cream is the new broccoli? Good job, mom.

I just finished getting re-certified for all the above, two loooooonnnnnnngggggggg days of sitting in a classroom doing first aid stuff...fun times...not really

Pizza guy say what?!
So here is the break down of the worst experience with pizza pizza...
-we call Pizza Pizza and this Mexican lady who knows little English answers
-an hour later she finally understands that I am not in Bangladesh and the ordering is done
-we wait...
-char's cell says one missed call, we call and the line disconnects
-we wait 20 minutes more
-we call the unknown number again. Turns out it's Ali the pizza guy. Ali couldn't get through on Charlotte's phone so he left and went back to the store... WITH OUR PIZZA!
-he then proceeds to tell us this is a private line, do not call again and hangs up.
-we call again asking, very politely what the pizza situation is
-he then says "DIS IS A PRIVUT NUMBAH DON CALL AGAIN F*** YOU!"
-I'm staring at the phone and we call our friend Ali back :)
-I bitch, scream and apologize to him for making his minimum wage job so hard! I mean he obviously doesn't have legs or arms to walk to the door and see the people waiting for him. Wait, that doesn't work because then why the f*** is he a delivery person!!!!!!
-he hangs up after calling me a dumb bitch and other colourful words he probably learned after dropping out of the sixth grade!
-we leave a complaint with pizza pizza telling them to shove the pizza up where the sun don't shine :D
-we order from milano's. 20 minutes later it's there and we are eating it.
from 4:40 p.m.-6:10 p.m.

10... ten... dix... the big One O... however you want to say it, there's only 10 more weeks of high school left!
To be honest, I'm kinda relieved knowing that I'll never have to sit through class again and say: "why?" cuz all classes I'll be taking in Uni will be well worth it (hopefully *cross my fingers*).
6 weeks till prom :) woot!!! uber excited for that wonderful night coming up, but I think I'll look a little close at the dance coming up... basically... I should just make a calendar right?

May 14 - Grad Retreat/Ultimate Tournament
May 21 - Ultimate Tornament
May 28 - Prom/last day to confirm offers for university
June 17 - last day of classes (I think...)
June 24 - Grad
THIS will definitly just fly by!!!! and before long, we'll be throwing our own hats in the air yelling:

To be honest, I'm kinda relieved knowing that I'll never have to sit through class again and say: "why?" cuz all classes I'll be taking in Uni will be well worth it (hopefully *cross my fingers*).
