So if you didn't already know, parliament resumed its duties as of today. for the past like, 5 months, everyone has been "taking a break/hiatus/whatever" from running our country, because apparently it's not that important of a priority. Among the topics of the Throne Speech were: members of parliament and senators will see pay decreases (thank god), and no new jobs are expected to be created. Other party leaders heavily criticized Harper for not addressing climate change action, making new jobs, and that whole business of HST??
Basically the same old recycled junk (no joke, Australia reportedly had the same platform... 6 YEARS AGO) was used to convince Canada that everything is headed on the right track.
Well done Harper, I knew I voted for you for a reason. Oh wait, I didn't, because I couldn't, and I wouldn't have wanted to anyway.
