chocolate cows?

Okay, so the latest controversy is that chocolate milk is "bad" for children.  Of course, the obvious is that it has twice as much sugar as regular milk, but other than that, it serves the same purposes as regular milk, and is only made with 1% milk or skim.  It also has 9 essential nutrients, including protein, vitamin D, calcium and vitamin A.  So why is this such a problem?  It's not like choco milk is causing obesity or is considered junk food... right?  Well, according to various public schools across North America, including many of the provinces, chocolate milk has been deemed unhealthy and pulled off the shelves of various cafeterias.

Wow, way to go people.  You have just taken away something that might have been encouraging children to eat healthy, now they will have pop and more sugary juices to help numb the pain.  Great plan.  Fortunately, there are many areas campaigning for chocolate milk and its continued distribution, with "Raise your hand for chocolate milk".  I'm all for choco milk, even if I do drink it by the gallon. ;)
