so how about that prom.....

well, in case you guys had forgotten, seeing as we have failed to have any updates in last few months... STP PROM IS TONIGHT!!!!
I pretty much have everything ready to go, ride, dress, accessories (can't believe earrings went in my ears after a year or more...), hair, nails, shaving (ughh), etc.

Now I just need to figure out after prom, but I really just want this to a fantastic night filled with great memories and hundreds of pics to remember them by.  There's barely a month left of school and I think it's time that people put their differences aside and get along, and forgive and forget.

I love all of my friends, and hopefully, they feel the same way.

so after tonight, be sure to expect posts galore on the aftermath!!

say what?!?!

So being home from school today and having nothing better to do with my time, I decided to read all the bios of the glee cast.  As I was doing so, I noticed that some guy published an article about how Jonathan Groff (aka Jesse St. James), was completely unconvincing as straight Jesse, seeing as he is openly gay.  And I quote "he seems more like your average theater queen, a better romantic match for Kurt than Rachel" (Satoodeh, Ramin (April 26, 2010). "Straight Jacket". Newsweek. http://www.newsweek.com/id/236999. Retrieved May 18, 2010).

Oh yeah, he's gay, of course, I knew that............... wait WHAT?!?!? WTF?
Do not get me wrong, I do not have a problem with this, it's just if I hadn't stumbled upon this little excerpt, I would have never, ever known that Jonathan Groff was gay.  Very convincing, I must say.

P.S. despite his orientation, he is still undeniably attractive (Finn is still my number one though :P)

Hooray!!!!

Yay for finishing scholarship application packages!!!!
No matter how late it is!

P.S. it is absolutely roasting in my house, and i have a fan on full-blast in front of me, yet I am still boiling...

Jack please don't leave us! :'(

So normally I wouldn't be too torn up over the season finales of 24, except after tonight, seeing as there will be NO MORE 24 to look forward to next January.  I was totally caught off guard by this, seeing as I had heard the show would be renewed for at least 2 more seasons...

In 5 minutes, the 2-hour SERIES finale comes on, and you better believe I will be buying the seasons to share with my own kids someday.

Just don't do anything crazy and die tonight Jack.

Flattery is nice, even from moderately attractive creepy dudes :)

So yesterday I went to dinner with Melissa at East side Mario's.  I had the chicken linguine with wild mushrooms and tomatoes.  We then walked to metro and stood in the the detergent section for a good half hour.  It all came down to downy ultra soft or purex.  While I was deciding, this moderately attractive guy with a shopping cart says hello.  I, like a polite canadian, say hi back. He then says 'I like you're outfit... it's very attractive.'  I nervously giggle and say thank you.  Btw, it was shorts, a tank top, and a shirt on top so not a stripper suit. We then mission to Shoppers where the same dude is there!  Mystery dude then says again, "you are very attractive, I can't stop looking at you from the corner of my eye."  He asks me what he should get for his mother's birthday and what would I like as a gift!?  I tell him perfume, I pay and say goodbye.  Later, Katrina (who was working that cash where the dude was hitting on me) says he didn't even buy the perfume.  He used it as a pickup line!  He also asked her if I had a boyfriend?!  She said no, and he walked away, to his beat up red convertible, with his elderly father in it.

Kinda creepy but flattering :)

Today is a good day :)

Wow, so it has been ages since I blogged, and i know char already apologized.
So the weather has been GORGEOUS for the past week, and I have finished all of my research papers and the powerpoint presentation I have due tomorrow!!
It is such a good feeling to hand in a paper, knowing you can put it out of your mind forever (well, a few weeks at least).
And coming up in the following days (yes, days!!):

Grad Retreat: Friday
Victoria Day: Monday
Prom: Friday, May 28th (aka, no school cause no one shows up)

first week of June, random week of whatever
week of CPT's etc.
Grad Rehearsal & Brunch: Thursday, June 10th
Exams: Monday, June 14th - Monday, June 21st
Graduation Ceremony: Thursday, June 24th!!!!

and then.... that's it! no more high school.  I actually think I may cry now.  I have no idea what to feel, it's so damn close, but it feels like grade 9 started just yesterday.
And then, I'm off to Guelph, and Char and Fatima are staying in good old Ottawa.  For now...
But no matter what, we will always be best friends.

Part 2

Hi guys :)
Here's part two of the photos from Rally Day :)
This is Ray's Reptiles...
This here is a rosehaired trantuala from South America named Chile

This here is a scorpian, apparently the bigger the pincers the less poisonous they are.

This here is Mojo :)

This here is a snapping turtle. Turtles have webbed feet unlike otrtoises who have non-webbed feet.

This here is Rocky, and he's a tortoise, not a turtle.
(photoshopped so make ground is in gray scale)

This here is neither a alligator or a crocidile but a camen. Its just a lil guy who was trying to bust out of his bok, so he has a lil boo boo on his lil nose :)

loving the effect of a bird

hoop dancer, LOVE LOVE her boots...minus the bell of course

he looks like the Jacob i pictured for twilight when I first started reading the series.

WUNDAHHHHLANDDD 2010 = Best shit ever.

Okay, so as you may or may not have known, ever since last October or November, CFM has been waiting and waiting for May 6th and 7th to come. Why is that?? Because those two days were when we hopped on a coach bus and headed for t-dot, followed by a day at WONDERLANDDDDD!

So I already mentioned what was on the itinerary, and although I was not looking that forward to the Science Centre, it was amazing!! Fatima and I kinda got separated from the group early on, but we found some really cool exhibits, including a simulated rainforest, a fish sanctuary and what it felt like to be a bird. And then there was the exhibit all about life systems and birth. And I'm talking like life size sturctures of the baby being born, and little vials with the various stages of embryo growth. And then we ran into this crazy scienctist guy who showed us an epic card trick.

Then there was square one mall, where i picked up some clothes, flats, and an awesome fruit-inspired necklace. But I got lost when it was time to meet up with the group to go to playdium, so everyone was royally PO-ed, but it blew over eventually. Playdium was well, fantastic, although DDR was an epic fail. Then there was the hotel, swimming, a botched designer clothes sale, and staying up until 130 just talking and being goofs.

WUNDAHLAND was amazing!!! Especially seeing as I started my day off with Behemoth, and ended it with Flight Deck (formerly known as Top Gun). Didn't feel so hot on the ride home but it was worth getting to satisfy my roller-coaster adrenaline high. And surprise surprise, somehow I managed to gain another tv show out of this trip (GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE), but I'm not complaining.

So it was a fantastic trip, with fantastic friends and a billion pictures to remember it by.

OPEN HOUSE: A success!!!!

So this is the gist of it from my perspective: band performance, pretty good, despite the fact we started really late and I was rushing like mad to get backstage for the dance performance. Got back stage, all the other dances were REALLY short, like ours was like 5 mins as opposed to the other 30 second dances before us.... AND WE TOOK THE HOUSE DOWN!!!! woot woot! here's a video of our performance for those who didn't go see it...*cough* Jeff.

BIEBER..frieber...lieber..hieber..tieber..not even rhyming makes it sound any better...

Who here hates Justin Bieber? HEY!!! I should see everyone nod in agreement ...*glares* at the one person who isn't nodding.

sadly, Bieber is Canadian, ain't that shame to our name (look I can rhyme just like he does =P)

First time I saw him, i thought he was girl! hey, don't judge me, it was on MOD and I was like.. who the heck is that? a girl.. a guy.. a shemale?! and when they said Justin, I thought they had made a mistake and it should of been Justine. But discovered as a youtube sensation? what do you youtubers have against watching other things? why BIEBER??? Why not the guy who blows things up, or sticks things in the microwave, why not just watch ice melt??? that would be sooo much better, even more enjoyable and exciting. Not to mention that your ear drums would stay intact :)

I'm usually all for Canadian born talent like the following:
Ryan Reynolds
Coco Rocha
Alanis Morisette
Rachel McAdams
(a whole list can be viewed at http://www.celebopedia.net/nations/ca.php.)

But Bieber? Do you crazy fan girls like a little squeaky pubescent boy who sings like a chipmunk??
And is he trying to be skater? with those high tops and hair that's always being swung to the side?? Skaters: you should feel offended by this Beiber.

Not to mention his songs....
One less lonely girl? One time? what's with the ones??? it's a one in a million chance that we would be stuck with this little girl of a guy singer/rapper, and we got unlucky. welcome justin beiber to the world of stardom, i hear he's releasing a second CD... my ears are dying! Never gonna let you go? Baby? No one's gonna want to date you bud. Give it up. If you were still a no one you wouldn't have groupies stalking you or stealing your hat in New Zealand. Person who stole the hat in New Zealand: I hope you stole it to burn it, becuase I can't think of any other reason to take it =S.   I really don't... well maybe voodoo...

I'll admit that the songs are catchy, but it's because of the lyrics, his voice just projects it... so *cough* Melissa: who loves the song BABY: go thank the song writer, and stop praising Bieber. same with you Fatima! One less lonely girl? really??? sadly EVERYONE knows all the lyrics to the songs they hate, just like Party in the USA... *sigh* life is so not fair... in the sense that we have to listen to these atrosities!!! but no matter, we'll just have a fun time making fun/mocking/laughing at these songs for they are crap. :) (literally)

Well, I don't think I'll ever be done ranting, EVER! but I had better end this before you fall asleep reading about my love/hate for the one and only rat shemale, JUSTIN BIEBER.

I bid you farwell with this lovely song that was produced in calculus class with the help of my friends:

(based on the BEAVER SONG)

THE BIEBER SONG:

Bieber 1, Bieber all,
Let's go to the torture hall.
Bieber  2, Bieber 3,
Let's shoot up the Bieber tree.
Bieber 4, Bieber 5,
Let's all mock the Bieber jive.
Bieber 6, Bieber 7,
Let's send Bieber to anti-heaven.
Bieber 8, Bieber 9,
STOP
Bieber died!!!!!!
It's Party Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you to all who wrote this lovely lovely song for this post :)
maybe we'll record it and get launched to super stardom =P
*translation: whos is cuter? panda or beiber..I think the panda wins by a looooooooooooooooooooooong shot!

Spring flowers, spring trends..what else is new?

the latest in the celebrity world thx to lou lou :)

the hottest six trends for this spring, and surprisingly its not florals!

1. LWD: the little white dress, something i'm sure lots of girls will follow in wearing underneath their graduation gowns :)

2. Past the knee: skirts and dresses, personally I don't really like this trend because the cut makes people appear shorter then they are, something I wouldn't really want because I'm already so short. This spring trend may be better for people, say over the age of 27-ish....

3. Sailor Stripes: Loving this trend... I really need to run out and get a comfy looking shirt/sweater/cardigan one soon, they just look amazing on everyone..provided you get the right stripes for your body type
here's a little recap: thinner stripes spread out alot are good, thin stripes close together are bad. thin stripes of 1cm mixed with 2 inches of another colour stripe equal flattering. wider strips are better, go for over 1.5 inches always. if you go any smaller it will create an illusion of added weight, and no girl wants that.

4. Jazz shoes: tap your way into spring with the snazzy jazz shoes. I personally like the traditional ones with the white and black, but the gold ones looks pretty when dressing up an outfit.

5. Bra as a top: never gonna try this, I have some dignity left.

6. Lingerie as outerwear: see comment above for #5.

WONDERLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit damn! its only two days away now, unlike MELISSA
i'm not planning on scaring the crap out of myself, but i am ever so determined to win a giant ass panda... or a nemo, whatever giant, huge, gargantuan stuffed animal, i call dibs :P

I'm so not a roller coaster person! I love spinny rides :)
But more or less i'm just excited to miss school and go nuts with my bestest buddies (legal fun as carney put it).
I'm SUPER excited to go to the Playdium, but watch me suck ass at it, but who cares, its WONDERLAND!

UGH! not enough time this week, i may just crash on the bus to toronto... or not, since i'll most likely be watching the HANGOVER! a-boo-ya! love love love love that movie! hot Bradley Cooper, and who doesn't want to join Alan's wolf pack?

Countdown...
2 days, 4 hours, 42 minutes and 30 seconds......2 days, 4 hours, 42 minutes and 29 seconds......2 days, 4 hours, 42 minutes and 28 seconds......2 days, 4 hours, 42 minutes and 27 seconds......2 days, 4 hours, 42 minutes and 26 seconds......

THE WEEK I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR...

it's finally here.  the week i have been waiting for since i can't even remember (like december).  tomorrow is dance showcase all dayyyy! sadly, i don't feel that we are ready in any form, as there are some parts i'm not even sure of yet.  But my mom managed to straighten my hair just now for it so i'm super excited anyway!! We always manage to pull it off and we are the finale again, thank you very much!!

After tomorrow, there's St. Paul's Open House from 5-7 p.m., and we perform at like 630 or something.  So come out if you want to get out for a bit.  Then i get home, pack and its off to WONDERLANDDDDDD until friday night!!!!! I cannot wait, i still remember when it was 70 days to go, and now its like BAM! right in the face.  and before the best thing, there are many other places we will be visiting while in toronto, including:

a) Ontario Science Centre
b) Square One Shopping Center in Mississauga
c) Playdium
d) staying at Sheraton (swimming and fun shit, woot woot!!)
e) WONDERLANDDDD for 5 or so hours the next day
f) back on the bus to come home........... :'(

So, given that we are only gonna be at wonderland for 5 hours, i have compiled a list of the rides i am definetely going to go on:

a) BEHEMOTH
b) the drop zone
c) the vortex
d) top gun (flight deck)
e) italian job (back lot stunt coaster?)
f) sky rider
g) sledgehammer
h) psyclone
i) great canadian minebuster
j) dragon fire
k) shockwave

so that is what my day will be consisting of this friday, and i am just pissing my pants in excitement.
